'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane celebrates his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently two years through the four-year deal he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the maiden significant achievement of his notable career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he once was, and would seriously consider lengthening his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
