Relatives of a child who received severe wounds after being hurled from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern have stated their "brave warrior" has achieved his goal of managing to run, jump, and swim once more.

The French boy was six when he was pushed off a balcony by a teenager, then 17 years old.

He, who was on holiday with his family in 2019 when assaulted, survived a 98-foot plunge but received significant wounds, including a cranial bleeding and broken bones.

Relatives shared in an news on a fundraising page, they were delighted that he had been successful to improve with his running, jumping and swimming before his next operation.

"He doesn't do it as other children at his age, of course, but we can no longer describe what he does in any other way than by terming it's jumping, swimming, and running."

"It's different, just for a short distance or a minimal elevation, but it's an amazing success."

The boy, who spent months in ICU, has continued to gain cognitive endurance.

His family stated although his recall abilities were even now quite restricted, they were effective and improving, so he was "acquiring a general knowledge at his rate, which more and more allows him to be included with kids."

'Goal Achieved'

Parents noted: "He is also developing, and due to his work with the movement specialist, he presently allows himself to rest."

After a court case at the Old Bailey, the teenager was sentenced of murder attempt and was imprisoned in the year 2020 for no less than fifteen years.
